I notice on the Bucuti Cam the surf is quite rough this morning. Appears if right up to the Palapas with a large cut bank.

Anyone currently on the island that can comment?

Yep!! The surf is running high. Yesterday a lot of wave action. Surf rolling in at height of 6--9 feet at Eagle Beach. Lots of local surfers out. Today it is still high surf but not as rough as yesterday. Friend who is a Captain of one of the catamarans had a rough day yesterday...a few sickies and the swell so strong the cruise took an extra hour to return due to the water conditions.

At Eagle Beach the surf is carrying in a lot of sand. This may help regenerate some beach lost to Tomas

Having previously been on the island when the surf has been similar can confirm it is an awesome expierence. Usually brings out lots of boggy boarders and surfers in the Manchebo-ABC-CDM areas.
