Sad day today in aruba
Arrived late last night and earlier in the day a twelve year old boy being a kid was playing around with his bike and hanging onto a container truck. In the area of the bridge in front of the Renasance Hotel he lost his grip and was crushed by the truck. The number is now 14 on the island please be safe I feel so bad for the boys family and driver of the truck.

This is awful. I remember when we used to "bumper slide" in the winters. Pretty dangerous. A 20+ year old was holding onto a bumper and riding his skate board in Wellfleet, MA a few years ago and the skateboard cracked. He is lucky he is alive, and has been in out patient rehab for years, after being in the hospital for months, but he is alive!

What a sad story! I feel awful for the families involved. Kids simply don't understand how quickly "fun" can turn to tragedy. Hopefully, his friends will learn from this horrible accident and use this as a lesson for the future.
