sad news
cindyo, from another BB
Some sad news my friends... Chef Mathieu Melenboer, originally from Holland and working now at Madame Janet, was killed in the wee hours of this morning in a car-crash. He is only 31 years old. Police is investigating the crash that happened near The Aruban Resort. His SUV smashed in another car, and then hit a light pole, overturned, and finally came to rest ON the driver, who was catapulted from the vehicule. Before this, he worked at Que Pasa. May his soul rest in peace.  Correction: Police is now convinced, that the other car caused the accident. The other driver, a 21 years old, abandoned the scene, and was later arrested. He is still in jail. |

sad news
Just got in from aruba....Over the weekend on friday night early sat morning the head chef at Madame Jeannettes was killed in a car crash.....I guess it was near the rotary at Lacabana around 300 am.. We found out as we were on our way for dinner when the cab driver said they were closed....How sad....not sure if anyone has already posted thisl

Oh no!!! My prayers are with their family. Poor person. They were very gifted. I hope it doesn't hurt business, that is our favorite restaurant!

no, the person that was killed in the car wreck is NOT the person that comes onto this site.

Madam Jannette Tradgedy?
A friend just returned from Aruba Sunday evening. He said that he learned that the head chef at madam janette was killed in a car crash either wed or thurs of last week. Does anyone know anything?
