Hi everyone, I am a collector of sea glass. When i traveled to bermuda, I would come home with hand fuls of sea glass. Does Aruba have sea glass anywhere?

Nope - never saw it. All beaches are different in each island.

Maybe check on the windward side of the island. A broken bottle over on that side would very quickly become a piece of sea glass.

I found a few small pieces of sea glass around Boca Catalina last year.

While we were there our neighbor was telling us how her friend used to find a bunch up on the beach up by the lighthouse.

We find sea glass every year along Druif and Machebo beaches. Surf conditions need to be 'just right' however. Every morning we walk from the Tamarijn to Amsterdam Manor and back. Our eyes are glued to the surf line. There are days I fill my pockets and there are days when we find only one or two pieces. Predominant colors are green and brown. Occassional pieces of clear and aqua. This year I found my first ever pieces of cobalt on an Aruba beach.

The sea glass is there, it just takes trained eyes to find it.

Thanks everyone I have a very trained eye and find sea glass from a mile away. IO am used to looking between rocks, so this may be a littl easier. I have a found a huge piece of Red sea glass right on my beach, how cool is that...
