Re: sea shells

I have brought back a few starfish from Aruba. When I have found them in the past, I had the pool boys clean them so that they would not smell. I never had a problem bringing them back to the US.

Re: sea shells

If you read your USDA card at the airport that you need to fill out, shells and other sealife are mentioned as no-no's, but I have brought cactus and many other things home myself without an issue.

Re: sea shells

As long as the shells are empty but I don't like to see live ones taken and left out to dry in the sun and die. There are plenty of empty shells. I bring brack drift wood, coral and shells as long as they are just on the beach and no creatures living in them. Enjoy. theresa

Re: sea shells

When I was a little boy the island was adorned with both. Please if you see one do not even touch it. A sad cry from a nostalgic islander.

Re: sea shells

Aruba doesn't have many shells. Best to leave them for others to see. If you want shells, go to Florida.
