Where you go on vacation probably has a lot to do with where you live. Being from Chicago, my family and I are always looking towards Florida, Mexico or the Caribbean. Some people I know will go to Alaska in the spring or fall. Hmm, I'm trying to extend my summer, not my winter. Last night it was -6° here. It's a great feeling to leave cold, dark, snowy Chicago and land in a warm place. But when you live in a warm place, your options open up. Of course, when you're from someplace other than the US, you can also go to Cuba! I hope you have a good time & post a detailed trip report... I'd love to go to Cuba, check out the crumbling buildings and 57 Chevys.
