has anyone stayed at the manchebo resort - is it on the beach like the tam and divi are - can anyone give me the pros or cons of this resort

I HAVE STAYED THERE. THE BEACH IS THE BEST ON THE ISLAND. NICE LAYED BACK PLACE,HOWEVER DON'T LOOK FOR LUXURY. I LOVED IT.

I have to agree with Pete. Best beach and the French Steakhouse restaurant is excellent.

While (as mentioned by pete) it may not be a luxury experience, it certainly will be an island experience. The resort is very tranquill and a model of what Caribbean resorts were like many moons ago. The beach is huge and fabulous. It has a bit of a European flavor to it due in large part to the many repeat European guests.

Many local people still consider that expanse of beach as one of the rprettier ones and you won't regret having stayed there at all.

Manchebo, the Divi and the Tam are all close to eachother on the same beach.

karen, i agree. the french steakhouse is excellent. we had dinner there twice last november and loved the atmosphere and food. we put it on our must do list.

Cool.... We're going there in May...We stayed at Bushiri 5 time before they closed - Loved it... Low key- great staff- Who needs a High-Rise anyway !

I agree with all previous comments. We loved it. Service was great, food was wonderful we did All inclusive, rooms were spotless and well equipped and the Beach is the best on the island. I've given reports on this resort before. I would definitely return.
