    Sewer Odor By Low Rise

Any news or reports about the sewer odor problem by the low rise? i was just reading a review on trip advisor from someone who stayed at Amsterdam Manor a week ago and he said the smell was unbearable. He didn't really elaborate if this was every day or if it was just some moments in a particular day.

We experienced the odor in November when we went to happy hour at Passions Beach Bar. The odor comes from the nearby sewage treatment plant and seems to be rare. But when its there, its BAD! It seems to be very hit or miss based on the reviews.
Not sure when, but we will be back

I was reading a review about Pizza Bob by Casa De Mar and some customer smelled it there so I guess its the whole area at certain days or times.

I've smelled it a couple of times while passing through the low rise area. I agree with Tracey that it seems to be very hit or miss.

I was with Tracey and her DH @ the Amsterdam Manor Beach Bar on one of the days when the smell was horrible.
We had to leave the beach bar as we could not bear it.

The next day we met some friends on the beach in the area of Amsterdam Manor and LaCabana and there was no smell.
    It was glorious.

A few days later, we were again at the beach in the same area with our friends and we had to leave as the smell was just overwhelming.

In all of the years that we have stayed @ LaCabana and swam at Eagle Beach, this past November was the only time that the smell from that sewer treatment plant was truly bothersome.

I never noticed the smell at all during my week at La Cabana. However, during my three weeks in Aruba, I would smell it regularly when driving beyond Amsterdam Manor towards Palm Beach.

Lots of people have stayed there with no problems, fingers crossed you are among that majority. If you get a bad day, you can always go over to your old stomping grounds, rent an umbrella for the day and have a Bugaloe grouper sandwich As long as you are in Aruba, it will all work out!

The only place we have smelled it was at the beach bar and pool bar at Amsterdam manor on a few occasions over the years. It was pretty bad and is why we have never stayed at AM. We have never smelled it at Costa Linda, Casa Del Mar or Aruba Beach Club. Have not stayed at La Cabana. we have smelled a pretty bad odor at Playa Linda area a few times. Don't know what that is from.

We went to The Kitchen Table one night and when sitting outside we could detect the sewer smell. We also spent many years at La Cabana without any sewer smells, however we have been told that Amsterdam Manor is where the smell is the strongest on the days it appears.
