Running shoes and socks for travel (the schlep through the airports - particularly Toronto - can be hard on the feet/calves) but those come off the minute we get in and flip flops or bare feet are the order of the day. Flip flops if the occasion is formal LOL... nah, I also bring a pair of penny loafers for extreme dining... NO SOCKS!!! And it's also the only time I wear pants (linen). I'm drifting more toward only dining in shorts-acceptable establishments though!

I have Wolky sandals that are great for walking. Also bring some Croc sandals for the beach. They must be 10 years old!

Several pairs of Crocs slides and several pairs of Teva sandals. Husband brings one pair of sandals, water shoes and a pair of loafers for finer dining. I never take the Crocs off even when in the water. They help with the rocky areas at Renaissance Island.

I usually wear my sketchers sneakers on travel days only because it is usually too cold here in Mass in late November when we leave and of course it is December when we return. I put my birkenstocks in my carry on and switch while waiting to retrieve my bags from belt. My poor feet swell so badly I have to bring some flip flops so I will have something to wear by the end of the week. Two years ago I forgot my flip flops it was awful trying to find something to put on my swollen feet. Last year I tried not to use salt and not too many frozen drinks and my feet were better. Will never forgot my flip flops again that is for sure as I do enjoy my frozen cocktails

Boat shoes for travel and dinners out. Slip-on sandals around the pool and beach. Strap on sandals for other times.

DW is another story. Sandals for every occasion. Black, white, silver, brown. They have to match something when she gets dressed.
