I'm with Walt. I bring 2 pairs of OluKai flip flops with me. One is a rubber pair that goes to the beach and pool. The other is a pair of nice leather ones that I use to go to dinners. I also bring a pair of running shoes for my morning workouts to burn off all the calories I eat and drink the previous day.

I've heard great things about oofo flip flops. I must find me a pair!

Need something for walking-- sneakers are worn on the plane since they are the heaviest, saves weight on the luggage.
Need something for the beach-- Tevas
Need something for night time-- sandals

I wear slip on shoes with slacks and golf shirt for travel. Don't like to wear lace ups going through security. Take sandals and tennis shoes to wear there. DW does the same but also takes a pair of water shoes and extra flip flops.

I'm with Lisa....except for one extra pair of sandals

Sneakers or slip-on Skechers for the plane - need good walking/hiking shoes and they take up too much room in the luggage so always wear them on the plane (we don't pay for luggage but I don't like taking anymore than one checked bag and one carry-on that fits under the seat. If it doesn't fit, it doesn't go along. I refuse to overpack and/or wear anything just once.)
    Flip-flops for the beach
One pair of casual sandals and one pair of dressy/wedge sandals

We usually stay for 12-14 days and this is all I need as far as shoes.
