Should I book My Excursions Beforehand?

I am going to Aruba in June and was wondering if I should book any excursions now or wait till I get there. Also any suggestions of what to do. I have an 9 year old son and an 11 year old girl.

It depends on where your staying. My husband And I honeymooned there. We stayed at the La Cabana,we booked when we got there. Don't book the Jeep tour rent a Jeep instead and do it on your own! Go horse back riding in the morning! The people are wonderful you'll feel like your on a different planet! Book your stuff the first day if you get there early enough! The hotel will help you! Have a great time!!!

You can save a few $$ if you book ahead online. But if you dont know when you want to do what it is better to wait, and see how your mood goes

hi,
could you tell me if the jeeps are standard or automatic?
i am a single parent going with 2 girls.
not familiar with driving in aruba. is it a tour that you can drive the jeeps but follow the others or are you totally on your own if you rent?

Re: Should I book My Excursions Beforehand?

we have gone on charters with tnt and gwv. they provide an orientation the following morning after you arrive there. if you are on one of these charters, you can book all your excursions right then and there because all the people who run them are there that day. they also have raffle tickets when you enter the door to win free prizes like a jeep tour, sunset cruise, etc. they also give you a 10percent discount on a lot of the excursions. bring your money with you when you go and you can plan your whole week. it saves lots of time and it is well worth approx. 1-1/2 hours of your time. believe me, it will take you more time to do this all on your own. have a great time. your son will absolutely love it. going again for our 8th time in april and cant wait.

Re: Should I book My Excursions Beforehand?

We are taking our first trip to Aruba in May. The charter that you mentioned, is it in Aruba or was it a private charter. We are staying at the Tam. Do all of the resorts have this hour and a half sign up?
Thanks
Deb
