Lisa; I am loving those weather reports-- I am trying hard not to be checking the weather channel for us for next week. (it doesnt do good to check and see the weather gonna be crappy since we cant do much about it anyways--so I avoid it at all costs.)

The weatherchannel.com aruba page is the thorn in my side.

should I be concerned about renting a jeep with no A/C if I am in Aruba next week (given the storms passing to the north)?

    Hi everyone!

We are coming to Aruba sunday 14th to our honeymoon for 10 days. We live in Finland and its 13 celsius in here right now. So its a bit shock to arrive to Aruba to the heat. We are hoping that the winds are rising back to normal so it will be a little bit cooler

Wind now in Aruba, presumably thanks to Hanna, is coming from the southwest.

"Wind: from the SW (230 degrees) at 9 MPH (8 KT) (direction variable):0
    Visibility: greater than 7 mile(s):0
    Sky conditions: mostly clear
    Temperature: 87 F (31 C)
    Heat index: 99.7 F (37.6 C):1"

kdecker, I wouldn't worry about the precipitation, I would worry more about the sun and heat beating down on you. As others have suggested check into something with A/C. There are soft top jeeps with A/C.

Jopi, bring loose fitting clothes to keep cool. And of course, all the bathing suits you own!

Had a week on constant....I mean constant rain from morning till night, through the night into morning....got there on Sunday....rained until Friday afternoon....we were leaving Sunday....cold, wet ugly !!!!
However, we consumed so much alcohol I didn't think I would be able to drive back in the states for a week after..!!!!

Bucutti cam is showing huge waves today. Not as big as those from last March, but considerably larger than normal!
