Situation at the Aruban
I have a question...
For the owners, if the company goes bankrupt what happens to the units that you own? Do you not own them? Do you have to rebuy them? What happened before this company took over from the bankrupted company with the original owners? I guess that is more than one question!

Folks: I can answer some but not sure on all....The Govt had overseen the operation prior to KL buying the resort and believe it or not the resort ran like a fine tuned engine. Of course Humphrey was the GM there for quite some time until he became very ill and passed away, and he was certainly an asset to the resort as well as a friend to many. The Aruban is a CO-OP and it is my understanding that if the Aruban was sold, went bankrupt, or ???? and whoever buys/takes it over,.... we would still own our weeks....... Of course this is what was explained to me quite some time ago....... I own some weeks of a 3 bedroom condo and also a 2 bedroom so like anyone I am concerned. It is a shame as the economy is so horrible all over the world and it has had it's effect on the Aruban and business in general on the island. I hope for all that the resort succeeds and becomes the resort it once was......
Take Care & Happy Holidays to all.....
