Re: SMOKES?

My husband usually takes them on his carry on and we have never had a problem. Not sure if it is allowed or not though.

Re: SMOKES?

No problem we do it every year. Better off in your carry on so they don't get ruined.

John,

Per Aruba customs, "Individuals over 18 years of age may bring one fifth of liquor, 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars and 250 grams of tobacco".

Re: SMOKES?

John, Absolutely no problem at all. I always pack mine in the checked luggage, but you can also put them in your carry-on.

Just a reminder, though, lighters of any kind or prohibited on all aircraft, even in a purse or pocket. I believe one is allowed to have either 4 or 8 books of matches on their person.

When you arrive in Aruba, it will be well worth your while to pick up a disposal one. It's hard enough to light them with a lighter, never mind using matches!

Just came back from Antigua, and I disposed of the lighter right outside the airport.

Hope you have a fabulous time on our favorite island in all of the Caribbean!!

No there is no problem. If you smoke Parliament lights and Marlborough Ultras - then bring them because Aruba doesnt have them. They have Parliament charcoal filter and they suck

Re: SMOKES?

No problem bringing cigarettes to the island at all. We buy ours at the duty free shop at our departure airport and put them into our carryons. You can also bring them from home in your luggage as the selection of cigarettes on the island isn't great.

My husband and I always take 2 cartons each and buy 3 each when we leave. No problems.
