snorkeling for newbies

We are bringing our own gear and I was wondering if there was a place we could go on our own..like enter from a beach area?

Thanks!

Boca Catalina http://www.shorediving.com/Earth/ABC/Aruba/Boca_Catalina/index.htm has the easiest entry with a sandy bottom. From there snorkel north.

There is a little bit more to see a little further northward at Catalina Cove http://www.shorediving.com/Earth/ABC/Aruba/Catalina_Cove/index.htm, but the entry is more difficult due to a rocky bottom.
