    Interesting...
I have been here three weeks (leaving in a few hours ) and yesterday we saw the Coast Guard helicopter fly over 4 times, the day before twice in the afternoon (which was the day the story broke) and before that almost never.

I would assume that something is going on??

I really don't think this should have been re-opened.This is not something that should be discussed on a public forum.Think about it.....If you were the family involved, would you? That is only My opinion.

    tangy
i somewhat agree with you about having it on this forum, but for different reasons.
i have sympathy for the girl's dad and siblings.
that being said, the mother and step father are the ones that turned it over to the media from day 1, and thrived in the feeding frenzy. (just my opinion)
i will continue to be vigilant and present on this thread making sure we (me included) do not get carried away with speculation or in over our heads.

the subject is a terrible subject and it is difficult.

    your opinion is noted tangy.
    thanks

We get coast guard helicopters flying around all the time. No need to think
    something is going on.

IMO - it looks like rocks. Where is Bones when we need her? If under
any other circumstance, would this be considered 'news worthy'?
No. The FBI has the info, if they thought it was of any significance,
they would have passed to the Aruban authorities (which they didn't).
They were brought to quanico (sp?) to their photo analysis lab.
Only because the people who took the picture thought they were
being ignored did they go public. In one interview, the guy said he
called quanico so many times, the operator said something 'we have
    to stop meeting like this'....

Wonder if they are making $$ off this.... Sorry but so many people
have 'cashed in' on this tragedy I am a bit skeptical.

Would like to see the news reporting 'facts' and real 'news'. Too many
other important things happening in the world today!

It looks like whatever you want it to look like. Coral can be like that.....kind of like looking at clouds and deciding "what that one looks like".....

There is a well known phenomenon called "anthropomorphizing". Basically, this means that the human brain tends to shape seemingly jumbled patterns into a coherent and familiar image; often people claim to "see" a human form or face in a complex pattern. Think of it as finding faces in the clouds, or seeing The Virgin Mary in an oil stain on the driveway.

It said, in the tourist paper this a.m., that the police are investigating the skeleton to determine if it is Holloway. I guess they think it IS a skeleton.

where was this "not a skeleton" information obtained from?
did the fbi or some forensic place make this determination?
    please site your source/link.
    where was this non-skelton located?

so this could be good news or bad news depending on how one looks at it.
