Since the leak was first discovered it's been a blame game between Petrotrin and the Unions. And in the middle of all this the PNM (People's National Movement) government is not doing a damn thing.

Happy to say that there is no sign of oil on the western side. I walked the full length of eagle, manchebo, druif, and bushiri this morning.

Glad to hear the animals have not been affected yet - hoping not at all!

Oh no..! Planning my honeymoon there in December and hoping that the issue doesn't get worse..!! We went last year and it was amazing, thus the planned honeymoon visit.. Would hate to have to reschedule it elsewhere due to an oil spill..

Welcome to the forum..... and based on all I've read, I really think you'll be OK for your honeymoon.

Thank you! I forgot to come back and post on here after our visit last year lol.. It was amazing..! We stayed at La Cabana, but this next time we're staying at Ocean Aruba next to the Ritz, which i'm hoping is equally as nice if not better than La Cabana lol..

And yeah we've both been in a little panic since the severity doesn't seem very well known yet, but I just hope that they contain it so we don't have to worry about being unable to enjoy our stay..
