Was wondering about Soul Beach 2006. I haven't seen any information about who, what or where in Aruba?

We have never been in Aruba while the Soul Beach festival was happening and wonder what to expect and where on the island

I believe it starts the 24th of May Wednesday thru Monday. I was told it was more near town and I understand they are taping this for an HBO special...I will be going home on the 25th and was wondering how crowded it gets and when the crowds if any start arriving. I am in high rise area

Yes, just saw Sinbad's brother here a few weeks ago. He promised a line up that would blow us away, but was not saying who was going to be here. I would love to see Sinbad himself back for Comedy Night, but he said that was unlikely this year. Now, Soul Beach is around the same time every year, during the long weekend holiday in May.

Yes, indeed, the Soul Beach Festival is going on this year. They have not announced the line up yet, however, for the past 4 years it has been great.Very well organized, great artists, perfect weather, and lots of fun and SAFE parties. The comedy night is HILARIOUS. Don't miss it. Transportation is no problem but you may want to stay at the Renaissance resort downtown. They are the primary sponsor for the festival and the host hotel for the artists. a lot of action. It will be the memorial weekend, May 26th.If I may, I would like to recommend that you rent a car. You will maximie your exerience that way. You won't regret it. Trust me, I have been in all since 1989. I'll be glad to answer other questions you may have. Don't miss it!
