Hi,

Does anyone know what spa is the best? My husband and I are visiting in September and we would like to plan a nice massage and treatment...Any suggestions?

Try the spa at Manchebo Beach Resort. The setting is absolutely divine and we go there every year for a spa day. Massage, pedicure and manicure. They have a great virtual tour on their site. It is called Spa Del Sol. info@spadelsol.

Okeno spa at the Reniassance private island

hello! We have only been to the spa at the Divi. It was really nice and we enjoyed our couples massage! We had it done under little canopies on the beach! I would recommend them but again they are the only place I have been to!!!

We love going to Tierra del Sol..at the Golf Course...you can use their pool (which is incredible and usually there's no one there...and also the gym- sauna-inside/outside jacuzzi and then have your couples Spa...we usually go in the a.m.- swim, etc. have lunch (additional) by the pool...and have the "Swedish Massage" for 2 andit is $145.00 for two...incredible deal...this is our 7th time going....22 days and counting!!

Marriott on the beach under their private hut, overlooks the ocean. Heaven on Earth.

Okeanos Spa is great. Mary is my favorite and my husband likes Francis.

We also did a couples massage on the beach at the Divi. We didn't look into any others so I am not sure how they are price wise compared to others, but ours were great.

I'll second Cindyo. My wife & I had a couples massage at "The Cove" on the Renaissance private island. The Cove is a private thatched-roof hut which juts out over the water. The view is unbelievable.
We had our massages just before sunset & were then left to enjoy our complimentary fruit platter & favorite frozen drinks in complete privacy as the sun slowly sank into the ocean. It was perfect!

I have to agree the Okeanos at Renaissance Island is the best. You can get a couple's massage on a private dock where you will only hear the ocean waves and birds. Spa del Sol is also very nice where you have a massage in your own hut. I also love the new spa at the Radisson: the Larimar Spa (very$$$ but very nice).
