Dolphins do not keep away from Aruba, it is just that you do not see them.

In reference to dolphins in captivity, look into the movie "the cove".

I haven't heard anything about the proposed dolphin attraction in Aruba lately, hopefully that has fallen by the wayside.

After seeing "the cove', I will never go to one of those dolphin parks ever.
I have seen some pretty bad ones on other islands and Mexico that would
break your heart.

I sure hope the dolphin projects are not going to happen in Aruba!

Cozumel hs dolphin swims--- so does Florida (discovery cove)

swimming with dolphins is very expensive.
there is a huge difference between swimming and dolphin encounters

Just got back from a "near shore" fishing trip. Around 150 yards out from Amsterdam Manor we had a medium size (4 feet across) Ray make an amazing jump out of the water right in front of our small boat. It probably flew 30 feet. I have never seen anything like that before, it was very fantastic. It was chasing bait fish together with a bunch of small tuna and didn't pay any attention to us. It was quite a sight.

A big Eagle Ray was spotted yesterday close to the beach on the North part of Malmok. Last year a couple of them stayed for a couple of days close to the beach. Sadly snorkeling have been out of the question today and looks like it will be tomorrow as well.

Thank you both very much, most of the time I'm the one on topics about dolphins to tell people about "The Cove."
