There was some flooding on the island but no real damage that would effect your trip. Regarding a car, we have been using Biudget for over fifteen years and ar very pleased.

I agree with Lisa. Royal is reasonably priced.

Don't rent online though, rent once you get there and make sure they see you looking for a car, they want your business more than you want the car.

Really? What a great tip...I'd be afraid that I wouldn't get one though....but we did have someone approach our friend last year offering quite the deal on a mini-van, but we had already rented one.

We do rent online and pick up and drop off at the airport as they are often cheaper than at our resort! Last year we rented from Avis, the $150. week price was so low they had a massive line of people and I got disgusted and few doors down another brand gave us the same price.

This year I have a reservation with Avis but Avis gave me a $50. coupon off on my next rental which I intend to use as I doubt anyone will be $105. for a week, our second week is $155.00.
