Strike is over
The strike on Aruba is over,the union settled for $105.00 afl per month,Not bad,glad all will be back to normal...

Well, it's about time.
I think working the same gig for how ever many years and not getting a raise for at least the last 5 deserves SOME degree of notice.

I'm not into the disruptions, but I am into the people who do the work getting the recognition for it. And if that recognition is more money, well, give 'em more money.

Read too that $105.00 afl was BEFORE taxes.

i am so happy they were able to resolve their issues. I was afraid to tell my husband and friends that will be arriving in aruba June 14th.
44 more days!!!
