i suggest again that folks PM the administrator JOJO or Mr Burnsand put your requests in writing to them

Hi,I have been going to Aruba since the early 1980's and continue about 3/4 weeks a year.When on vacation my husband and I do not drive.We feel keep the taxi drivers in business and we can relax.My complaint is I have been visiting many of the other islands in the last few years and as of three weeks ago none of the taxi drivers charge extra on Sat. and Sun. and holiday's. I also remember the $2/4 taxi ride which is now average in Aruba costs $12/$15 if a weekday. I take many many taxi's in each two week vacation.I wish they would realize they are hurting their own business.This spring about 16 of our group have decided to rent cars.Too bad if only that weekend extra charge wasn't happening.I have asked in the last 12 months at 5 islands while I took a taxi off cruise ships to check out islands a little more and not one taxi driver has ever heard of this except some said they know from customers that its an Aruba thing.

There needs to be a link to the forum from the homepage at aruba.com!

I told my parents about the forum and it took them a while to find it (via the silly sitemap). Imagine how long it takes someone to see the forum if they aren't looking for it!

We would have so many great suggestions/perspectives from new people if they only knew about the forum from visiting the homepage.

We will look into placing a link on a more obvious place. You can already find a link in the About menu titled Community Forum.

Thank you Mr. Burns. Went to aruba.com homepage earlier today and it was the second thing to catch my eye on the page. The first being the newsletter sign up button.

Members can also refer folks to the forum directly through referrals
