Sun product, Ling and Sons, and who's there now?

2 weeks and 5 days 'til touchdown in paradise.
    The Tamarijn awaits.
Who's going to be there the week of the 17th?

And, a request of anyone that might be there now and possibly headed over to the big Ling and Sons store...

They have a pretty big sun protection section there, they used to carry, and hopefully still do, Australian Gold products....
If anyone is in there and remembers, could you see if they still do in fact carry the brand?
I've been looking to order some online and the price (shipping) is outrageous... and the product isn't available here in Canada.
And the Ling and Sons website is less than informative, but it is after all a grocery store.

    Mucho appreciado in advance.

And, if you're at the Tamarijn, (I know this sounds like a broken record, but) how's the beach by the 1400-1500 block?
    Still rocky as can be?

We also use Australian Gold sunscreen. This year, I bought some on Amazon before we went down. They were a lot cheaper than what we had seen in Aruba. I didn't check at Lings this year, but I did see a lot of it in the convenience store in the shops by Alhambra casino. I don't recall the price, but I remember that it was more expensive than what I had paid on Amazon.

Yeah, I'd thought about Amazon, but the shipping, as I said, brought the price up to over $25 per bottle.
That's a bit insane, which is why I'm trying to find out if it's for sale at Ling and Sons.
Theirs was the best price, and trust me, the Lady and I did exhaustive searching for the best price while there, and found it to be at Lings.
As Ripley said, believe it or not.

If Lings doesn't have it I'm sure that you can get it at the convenience store.

Canada's a funny place when it comes to products made in the US.... at least some products.
Can't find a jar of Jif up here to save your life.

I've never, except once, been able to purchase it up here. The Australian gold, that is.
And that once was at a now-closed Target.

Guess I'll wait 'til Aruba. I've still got some left from last year which will do until I hit Lings.

They do sell it there. I bought some when I was there a couple of weeks ago. I don't remember the price I paid for it.

Thanks for that... the pressure's off.
As I recall, theirs was the best price we had found.
And it's pricey enough, so a deal's a deal. Especially when it's not readily available at home.

London Drugs has it online - I vaguely remember them having some "free shipping" coupon online last year - you may be able to search it out or see if they'll give it to you gratis... here's the link:

I'm guessing the JIF situation is related to the Canadian Dairy Conspiracy - I couldn't find Land 'O Lakes Olive Oil Butter to save my life in Canada. I asked a friend who works in agriculture why and he blanched and said, "Why WOULDN'T you want to buy Canadian dairy products?!?"

Sigh. Oh Canada, our home and demented land.
