CHARLES,
WHAT A WONDERFUL FEELING TO HAVE SEEN A POST FROM YOU! IT MAKES MY DAY. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK OF PROVIDING US NON-ARUBANS WITH THE LIGHT OF YOUR ISLAND. I KNOW I HAVE ALWAYS BROUGHT BACK A SMILE ON MY SKIN FROM ARUBA!!

Re: Sun Shine Smiles Are A Gift

Charles, ever notice B.M.S. writes from many I.P addresses?

Just keep in mind what I said in the past, he's just another flea in this world of millions.
His daily life needs to write anything to incite anyone.

DONT FORGET EVERYONE;
YOU DO NOT GET HARDLY ANY ANSWERS WHEN YOU WRITE, RIGHT AND PROPER AND NICE WORDS TO PEOPLE.

YOU GET PLENTY OF REBUTTALS WHEN YOU WRITE INSULTS AND UNFOUNDED NEGATIVITIES.
Thats exactly why the fleas like BMS and all the others write. Their mad at the world and mad when anyone shows more than any character they could ever hope to have.
They need their daily FIX to satisfy their warped minds.

Dont feel sorry for them, rather feel sorry for the people who have to be around them.
We're all fortunate, we dont.

SOLUTION NEEDED ASAP!!! Push for I.P> identification.
Then the fleas will all be eradicated.

Re: Sun Shine Smiles Are A Gift

oh dear you are so right.
and what a difference a smile makes.
i know beacuse i smile a lot. and i can feel the change in people when you smile at them. i love to smile it makes me feel really good inside.
aruba gave me a welcoming smile when i first set foot on the island and i smiled back and keept on smiling the rest of my stay.
i've been home fore about six months and everytime i hear ARUBA i have a BIG smile on my lips.
now i'm smiling even more then usually just beacuse i know it's not long before i'm back to the smiling island.
smile and aruba smiles back

What a wonderful post to start my day! After last nights interview with Greta Van Sustern, we can finally put a face to the name & it's a fine face. Smiles to all!

Thank you Charles, you have summed up the "Aruban Experience" more eloquently than any other post I have had the pleasure of reading! You continue to remind us all, in spite of all the negative publicity surrounding the Island, it is the people, yourself included, that cause us to return again and again.

Have a great weekend!

Re: Sun Shine Smiles Are A Gift

Dion,
Good point, perhaps the wart thing needs a bit of explanation and I should mention that my son loves frogs and toads. What can I tell you??

I have a three year old and he is curious about everything. He must have had his hand in something or other because about two months ago, he developed a wart on one of his fingers. Little kids being what and who they are, he tried to scrape it or rub it off. To no avail, we tried every thing to stop him. A neighbor lady of ours was visiting and saw Junior working away on his wart and told him that warts are little signs that god loves toads and that if he looked at a toad he would see that all toads are loved by god and that is how they turn out to be a prince. He did not stop scraping but I think that impacted me much more than it did Junior. In any case, as I thought about the seemingly ugly situation going on at this time, I decided to use the parallel.

You see, Dion, alot of what I write is not only for sharing here but for a little guy that lives at my house. He is three years old and I can imagine that this private little communication I had with him on this last post would be difficult at best to understand. Thanks for bringing it to me attention - I appreciate it.

Thought it needed a bit more explanation.

Once again - thanks and Be well
