Can anyone tell me if Taxis cost more on Sundays for travel in Aruba?? We were told by our driver that they are allowed to charge more.

surcharge of one dollar for Sunday and three for holidays. After midnight two dollars surcharge. Ask driver the fare amount before you hire him.

Yes.. more on Sundays. I paid $11.00 from the Holiday inn to the Alhambra casino. The driver said it was because they couldn't get enough drivers to work on Sundays unless they made more $$. I think they are in some type of union? Rip off....
