surf club

does anyone have information about the surf club. There are nine of us going in a couple of weeks and since it was my recommendation i am getting nervous that the place is under construction and therefore we will be hearing banging and hammering all day. Please let me know
thanks.

Re: surf club

The construction does start early so if you are on that side of the building you may hear a little of it. We were never really bothered by it even around the pool area. Even with construction going on it is still the absolute best timeshare property. I think you will be happy.

Re: surf club

The surf club is still the best Marriott property. I just got back and split time between the Resort and the Surf Club. I wish I just stayed at the Surf Club. The rooms are awesome. They are brand new. The pool is much better then the resorts. Huge swim up bar. The pool has to be like 300 yards long. There is a little noise near the far end of the pool opposite of the pool bar but very minimal. You can't hear anything at the end with the pool bar and the section with the pool that moves like a small river. You can use your room number to sign for any food/drinks at any of the 3 properties. Have a great time and stop worrying. I'm jealous.

Re: surf club

Hi

My husband and I are staying at the Surf Club, we leave next Sat. I'm nervous about some reviews that I have read. The beach smells, you have to reserve a hut, at 530 am. Is the beach as nice as Eagle Beach?
Or should we just take a bus down to Eagle Beach. We are big beach fans and I don't want to be disappointed.
Any other helpful tips about this resort would be great. Also I'm exchanging through II do we have to pay any taxes on the room.
When we stayed at LaCabana we did.

thanks, counting down the days
