We are going to Aruba in January. Does anyone know when they will be done on the new building? How about the docks? I'm reading all these really bad reports about all of the construction, but when we were there last January it didn't really affect us. Maybe this is typically when they do most of their construction. I don't know. I do have to comment though that anyone that bought at the Surf Club had to have known that they were going to do alot more work by looking at the plans. What it really comes down to is that when its all done everyone will love it and it will raise the value of your time share. Maybe we all just have to have patience and look at the end results. It sounds like they are trying to accomidate everyone to the best of their ability, if they ask.

All I got to say is that People buy there knowing construction is going on and then they have the gall to complain about it. Im sure when everything is done, it's going to be fantastic. The moving of the dock is going to improve the beach 500%
If you hate the noise, get in your rent a car and go to eagle or Baby beach. Aruba is a beautiful place and growing by the moment. If you own there, you have a place to go that has a virtual no chance of ever getting hit by a major hurricane. And the way the carribean has been active, Thats a very good thing....

My husband and I will be there in January...and can't wait. Probably since we are both from NY we tend to not think so critically about renovations!!!!! It's part of life.

I'm currently staying at the Surf Club and the only time you notice the construction is if you look directly at it, or you are making your way down the beach (towards the other hotels) as they have the path diverted a bit. Its completely tolerable. I hope you enjoy your stay!!
