Surf is up again.

There is no rain BUT...... the surf is UP. Eagle Beach is losing a few feet today.
This will be about 15 feet in the last 2 weeks.

The beach comes and goes. The 1st year tha Aruba Beach Club was opened in the mid 1970s there was about 200 yeards of beach separating the Ocean from the pool deck. I remember wondering why they built the hotel so far back from the water. A number of years later there were waves breaking on the pool deck and the hotel had to install rock jetties to save the hotel. I never know what to expect every year.

EBB, How has the big surf been impacting Divi/Tam? I know theyu got hammered fairly hard in some of the earlier storms especially last fall.

I second that question...
The Lady and I are heading to the Tamarijn for the first full week of April, and we're sort of curious as to how that beach front is?
Am I going to be doing Reiki sessions in the water?
I keep hearing stories of the water coming up to the path and beyond to the rooms, but fortunately haven't experienced it.

Any input anyone?
Any photos? (That would be really helpful...)

I have not been down there personally. A couple of weeks ago they trucked sand in to fill in some of the beaches. Not sure what it is like now.

From the AM I could see the waves crashing at the "point".
