Has anyone attempted to use T Mobile with the International Roaming turned on?? If so,
were there any reception problems??

Re: T Mobile Phones in Aruba

I understand T Mobile works fine. I have Verison and was informed by the company that it will work well. Has anyone had success with either company?
Thank you.

Re: T Mobile Phones in Aruba

Yes, you can use your T-Mobile phone in Aruba. Just be sure you have a world phone, which is most of the newer phones. Call T-Mobile and they will program your phone for you while you are on the phone. I used my phone in Aruba last December. It was $1.49 per minute and the quality was the same as if I used it in the states. T-Mobile came into existance when the German phone company bought out Voice Stream. They already became a worldwide cellular company. Have Fun with it.

I was wondering, anyone who has rented a phone did you reserve it on the net or wait until you got there, from what i understand if i reserve it i can get the number to be able to leave at home???? I am guessing Fast Phones (Charlie???) is the way to go are they the only phone rental available?? or just the best. I am leaving in 2wks if someone could reply, i would appreicate it.

Re: T Mobile Phones in Aruba

Was in Aruba in March. After checking with Verizon and figuring out the cost involved in using my Verizon Cell, it was cheaper to rent. I used ArubaFastPhones, found service excellent and reliable. Was able to get my phone number prior to my departure, rental phone was waiting for me at the airport.
