I have found one post on the internet which had a little bit of good news.

Anyone know how the Tam stood up to Dean

We got home from Divi Village very early this morning. The Tam had some minimal damage to a few of the rooms closest to the restaurant, 1401, 1402, 1403. They put plywood across the terrace to keep the water from going in again. They swept up the sand and seaweed. Many of the terraces in that block were covered with sand and seaweed, but people were still staying in those rooms, so I assume the water did not get inside. The walkway around the restaurant to 1400 bldg was undermined and they closed it off. The next day, the sand was back but a bit of a wall around a garden had broken because of the undermining. Nothing major, and I'm sure it will be repaired quickly. They had crews on the beach raking up the seaweed and coral that the ocean deposited. The surf was very strong and they were flying a red flag for swimming, though many people were in, and did not seem to be giving out any kayaks or floats. In front of the rooms next to the climbing wall, the beach had disappeared sometime between our Feb. visit and now, and it was very rocky. The storm relocated the sand, and when I walked there early yesterday morning, there was a lovely smooth beach!! All along the beaches, from Tam to Costa Linda there was very little beach that wasn't under water. The palapas were standing in water, and people had chairs pulled way up toward the pools. Saturday night we went to Papiamento's for dinner and ate in their beautiful garden, but it was HOT because there wasn't a breath of wind. Yesterday morning, the surf was still high, but the wind was back. So, some cleanup on the beach, but no major damage, people were still out enjoying the wonderful Aruba weather.
