...and the last I checked it was the world's 3rd largest desalination plant. The water is as good as you could get anywhere!

I agree. And still you see people buying cases of "IT" in the stores.

Yes, I stopped some new tourists from buying bottled water at Ling's last week. I heard her say, next is bottled water, I told them that they could buy some if they need the plastic bottles but the water out of the tap is great! Don't know what they did I am sitting here, in Aruba, drinking a 24 oz. glass of water direct from the tap (ice cubes added as it comes lukewarm from the tap). I have at least two of them every morning and it is GOOD!!!

I agree - the best tasting water out of the tap that I've ever had!

The quality of the water is irreproachable in Aruba.
The problem is that after a long stay in Araba it is mine that I found less tasty...

And better than most. Might be a little warm as pipes not deep in ground so put in jug or something and keep in frig. If no frig in your unit just add ice.

I think it is more because the water is made from boiled seawater.
(A very hot water output once it is ready to distribute...)
It does get cooler in the pipes but since the water don't stay there long enough is doesn't have the time to get as cold as it could be.

    But I might be wrong...

You are correct....although I ususally buy a few bottles so we can freeze them and use them in our collapsable coolers for our quad and jeep excursions during our stay....plus they make good frozen vodka lemonade coolers !!!!

The water is great, and what I always do, if no frig, put it on the airconditioner at night with some ice and its cold for the morning.

Thank you to ALL for your responses. I'll be sure to tell my hubby the water is safe & pleasant to drink.
