Never had a problem there. I remeber someone telling us once that the desalinization plant on Aruba is one of the worlds largest.

After drinking the water here - it's hard to drink the water back in the states.

Always crack up at the restaurants when they ask you 'would you like bottled water?" Aruba water is better than any bottled water hands down!

I have let's just say a sensitive stomach and I never ever have had ANY issues drinking the water in Aruba. I drink a good deal of water throughout the day and with dinner as well.

Same here, Aruba is the only place where I drink tap water. At home I still run it through a filter.

    >>> "wondering if the tap water is safe"
---- Better than some in the States. Might be a little warm since pipes are not that far under groung. When grandsons were very young even made their milk with it(mixing with the powder). We always had a frig so tap water went in there to get cold.

As an engineer who has been in the water field for 34 years (and who has a friend who worked on the desalinization plant construction) I can attest to the fact that the water is great. The treatment technology is as good as it gets.

If there are any problems, it would be on the far extremes of the distribution system where flows are low and water is "old". Not a problem in hotel areas where water is always running.
