We are planning a trip to Aruba in July. We heard on our local news this morning that terrorists have threatened to bomb Aruba hotels where Russians are staying. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

I ve been to Aruba 8 times and will be going again in three weeks. I have never heard anything like that before, sounds kind of off the wall to me. I have never even seen a russian on the island. I hope this is just a hoax or rumor. If youre worried stay at a low rise. As someone who can attest to the security of the island, I've never felt the least bit unsafe. However, the story about the youg girl from Alabama does concern me a bit. God bless her and her family. My prayers are with them to find their daughter safe and sound.

Most terrorist threats are bogus. And nothing is going to happen. It's just fear mongering.
