test

I am having trouble posting.All of my sentences are being run together.My smilies do not work.I cannot change font or size or color.I cannot use quotes.I cannot private message folks.I ran a virus scan and adware and all came back clean.Should i do a system restore?I installed a new AVG Virus/Adware software today.If i do a system restore do i lose my new AVG?Thanks for any help.Andrea J.

Did this just start happening or was it after you installed the new software?
Have you shut down the computer and let sit for 15 seconds before restarting?
Before doing a full system restore I would remove any new software first and test posting after each one removed (if more than one newly installed program)
I also reformat my computer once a year to keep my system fresh (mainly because I run windows XP and we all know Microsoft)

I had the same problem. It was (so I was told) a viirus but when I got it back it was gone. Now I have double spacing somtimes.

Andrea I too thought about the virus aspect last night after I sent you the email regarding checking your ActiveX settings. Run your anti-virus also to make sure.

Andrea, My husband was having the same issues only not with this forum...tried to do a systems scan and could not...had to install new virus protection and now everything works okay. Not sure it's the same problem, but if you've tried everything else and nothing works you may have to re-install a program....try shutting down and pulling all plugs and wait for a few minutes, plug in and reboot...
