A week ago I came home after another wonderful 10 day vacation in Aruba. Every year it gets harder and harder to say see you next time..to all the Aruba friends that I have made. Yes I go back to the HAPPY
ISLAND every year partly because of the warm sunshine...beautiful beaches...the great resturants ...and so on. The main reason I keep going back is do to the people of the island they now how to live each day to the fullest and except each moment as it comes. They work hard and they play hard and enjoy life...they know how to say good morning and ask how is your day,or how is your vacation...they know how to take time to smell the roses and notice what a beautiful day it is..They help us forget the troubles of the world...I very much believe that if those of us that go to Aruba would bring back a little Aruba cluture home with us...this would be a better world to live in...to all my Aruban

Hi Tiko, I couldn't agree more with your
post. I've said in a few other posts, I've
only been to Aruba once 20 yrs ago and don't
know why I waited so long to go back. I
met a wonderful bartender the 2nd night I was
there who showed me around all week - he was
like a personal tour guide. Talked to him
last year after about 18 yrs (he lives in the
states now) and it was like it was yesterday.
He said so much has gone on since I was there
I probably would not believe it. I mean when
I was there they only had about a third of
the hotels, and I remember I ate at the
Buccaneer and it was the best meal I've ever had (I know there is alot of people who say
it is terrible now - but I loved it back then). The people as you say could not be
any nicer and I also love their outlook on
life. They make you feel very special when
you are there. I'm hoping to go back in the
next year - not sure when. I went in Aug.
last time and the weather was fantastic!
So glad you had a great time again and I may
need your advice when I decide to go back
since it's been so long for me.

Tiko - I come from a small town,maybe 1000 people,and I feel Home here. We meet so many nice people. I am here now,and I am in LOVE. Every good thing I heard ahead of time,was right on. BigPapa
