We've been in Aruba a few times over Thanksgiving and found many of the restaurants offering a traditional turkey dinner for the holiday. I remember how surprised I was that the restaurants made that special effort. Last year we went to Amadeus and had a fabulous meal, especially their Dutch apple pie and of course a leisurely after dinner Lost Symphony. I'm really going to miss being there this year, but can't complain because we were in Aruba for ten days in October.
We've been on the island the last few years on Thanksgiving Day. However, it is our travel/arrival day so really can't tell you of any special events. I do know however, we do enjoy having a full turkey dinner after a very long day of travel. The Divi AL is nice enough to provide a delicious turkey dinner and all the fixings for their guests.
Well I know one special happening will be my wife and I arriving on the island on Thanksgiving let the party begin.
My husband and I....will be number three in the line of arriving couples on Thanksgiving
