For those frequent visitors to Aruba
I have an idea for all those that visit the island over and over again and are renting a cell phone. You know that you can actually buy a phone and use it when you return. I have a simple Nokia phone I purchased from Setar it works wonderful. When I return all I have to do is add minutes to the phone. I have the same number and everything every time I go. If you buy a basic phone too the price isnt all that expensive. If you have any questions drop me a message.

yes dushi
we too have bought an aruba/setar cell phone bought it in 2004 and have never regretted the purchase the phone itself was about $60 or $70 we add about $25 worth of setar minues and that gives us about 2.5 call hrs to the usa or about 1.75 hrs for local aruba calls incoming calls are free caution though, your saved minutes expire about 7 or 8 weeks from installing them. phone and or phone minutes purchase can be made at the setar kiosk at the airport andrea Quote:

I've got a Motorola Razor w/T-mobile. Before we went last spring I had them activate the internatinal feature and it worked great. We don't call home much, and the rates were cheaper than going through the hotel. I guess it depends how many minutes you use as to being cost effective.
