we always carry a insulated canvas cooler as a carry on which we put our snorkel equipment and what ever we can in it, then we have a nice cooler for beer etc. when we leave our room, also certified grocery store has a nice styrofoam cooler with carrying handle which is really sturdy for $14.00.

There are many available at Walmart and discount stores. I read about one on wheels that holds 54 cans and ordered it through target.com. for $29.99. It is awesome and big enough with seperate compartments for sunscreen, books, etc. I am going to use it for my carry on going down. If you don't want to get that fancy I've seem some that hold 6 cans for $10.00.

Any large retailer, Walmart,Target, etc sell these foldable coolers for like 10-15 bucks!

They are awesome for the beach and easy to pack!
