typically if we have any left at end of a vacation we use them to pay the ransom to release the dog from the kennel
we now never put them away for a rainy day

Is it a good idea...do a lot of places (restaurants) take them??? or better to bring cash and a CC don't want to use the CC too much...just had a bout with someone getting the number of 2 of our cards and trying to charge in Georgia, we live in mass.
I think usually wherever you are staying will cash them too
We normally bring teavelers checks. You can cach them either at your hotel, or at any of the casinos.

----- At restaurants I usually use Travel Checks and then cash. It seems over the years that is where cc #'s are copied and then used elsewhere.
We have never had problem cashing traveler's checks at Casino or our hotel - the Renaissance.
Going back to Aruba in
We will be taking cash, Traveler's Cheques and CC.
I prefer to use a CC as little as possible to avoid any fees, and limit
the exposure for potential fraud. If you are not staying at any of the resorts, but may be dining there or simply passing through, will they still cash a Traveler's Cheque for you?
