Trip Report

Left Boston on Jet Blue had a quick change in New York grabbed a coffee and a magazine and was on another plane easy. Arrived in Aruba 20 minutes early. Loved Jet Blue same thing on the way home it was great I would do it again with them. Lost the TV over the ocean but the movies came in and no charge for movies or headphones.

Rented the car from Hertz another easy thing it was great.

Stayed at the Hyatt nice hotel and I love the Lobby and Lobby bar new renovations. I know people commented they didn't like some of the big chaise lounge/bed type canopy things but they are for the "honeymooners" and they just sit back and relax I thought it looked great. The new rooms are nice.

Food was great went to Tango's across the street from the Hyatt the first night awesome steak, "tango dancers" put on a show while we ate it was nice. Chalet Suisse was great. Never made it to Madame Jeanette this time closed the night we wanted to go. Weather was good it did rain though I was a little disapointed because we were only there for 5 days and lost two beach days to the bad weather. Well Sunday was cloudy all day no sun except maybe early morning we went to the beach anyways and you can still get color in the clouds but I like the sun. Monday was lousy all day rain off and on and no sun to lousy to go the beach. I still love aruba and can't wait to go back!!!!

Re: Trip Report

That is disappointing, rain! I read over and over, if it rains, it only does for 10 minutes at a time.. What happen to that philisophy?

I'm sure though, rain or no rain, you are in ARUBA!!

Re: Trip Report

This is to Kathy Haskins- Tango's is good. They have early bird specials up until 6:30 p.m. I think. The Tango dancers are on every night as far as I know. The first show is at 7pm. They only last 10-15 minutes but are fun to watch. We go there every year.
