Tropicana and Key Largo Casino
It's wonderful to hear that the Tropicana is really doing well. We will be at LBRC in May. Does anyone know if the Key Largo Casino has re-opened? Also, have they began work on the larger Tropicana Casino (the old, large casino on the property that has been closed for years)? My husband loves to stop in the Key Largo and really missed it last year

key largo has not repopened.
the work on the large casino looks to be about the same as it was over the past 3 yrs. (the building is a hulking empty shell)

The small (old Key Largo Casino) is ready to open just waiting for the permit from the Govt...It should be open way before you arrive....The restaurant is also ready and will start cooking for the staff this week...I think they plan on opening the restaurant to the public in a few weeks....
