I can't remember where we got it or how we got it home, but on our honeymoon in 1989, we purchased a 5 foot diameter decorative furry wall hanging/rug. It hung on the wall in our bedroom for many years. If you ask me now, I couldn't begin to tell you what compelled us to buy a wall hanging/furry rug.

My favorite purchase was a blanket made from sweatshirt material with Aruba silk screened on the corner. It travels with me often.

Hey, every souvenir I have from Aruba is unusual, odd or different!!! My whole collection is unusual, odd or different souvenirs. Who in their right mind wants to keep chips they can cash in for money? Or wants the junk I collect? That's what makes it fun!

Those were also in the days when you could take stuff like that home ( I did however put it in my suitcase)….I will get a picture of it and post in another response tofile://localhost/Users/micheleambrosia/Pictures/iPhoto%20Library.photolibrary/Masters/2014/06/01/20140601-213951/Image%203.jpgfile://localhost/Users/micheleambrosia/Pictures/iPhoto%20Library.photolibrary/Masters/2014/06/01/20140601-213721/Image.jpg

Here are some of the weird things I have picked up or others have brought back for me. Tito's (the ticket in ticket out tickets for the slot machines):

    Match play coupons:

A ticket for a drawing for a house at the Crystal Casino. You got a ticket for each blackjack:

    Some more --

First, one of my most unusual and one of my favorites. Looks like a matchbook, but it's a calculator. And from the original Aruba casino, the Aruba Caribbean (although when it was the Golden Tulip):

    Came from a friend's honeymoon!

Next, I think it's a keychain, though I don't know how it is supposed to attach to anything:

    Given after blackjack lessons.

    More --

    Now, some wacky stuff:

A luggage tag from the Ocean Club

And a label from a water bottle from the newest casino (I didn't pick this one up myself and it came as a surprise):

Finally, an old fashioned swizzle stick from the 60's or 70's. I have 3 colors (all obtained at different times):
