Boy, with that title you would think I need to check into the Betty Ford clinic!

We have dinner reservations for tonight at 6:30 and we are considering going over early to try to find a happy hour spot on the beach. Can anyone suggest a place that is within walking distance?

NONE.... not sure if you're aware but old man and the sea is literally right next to flying fishbone. the only thing around there is the parking lot and residential houses. you can sit at the bar and sip your drinks but i doubt they have a happy hour. you're better off drinking by the hotel and then traveling to the restaruant.

I checked with the Hyatt concierge and she let me know that the only place to have a drink would be the FFB. We plan on heading over there an hour early to have a drink there prior to dinner. We are only here for 9 nights and have a couple of company dinners to attend at our hotel so we are trying to fit everything else in during this short amount of time.

There is a local bar just before the restaurants called ZEEROVERS. It is where the local fishing boats come in. Not fancy but very interesting and inexpensive.

We like it.
