    walking question

Can you walk from the Ritz to the Tam on the beach? We want to do our walks every morning on the beach, not in one swoop but want to know if its possible or are there parts of rocks where you can't walk the beach? I hope I'm making sense.

That would be quite the walk! Not sure about the rest of the route, but when you get to Casa Del Mar, the rocks and water prevent you from crossing over to the Divi. We used to be able to walk over to Matthews from the Divi, but in recent years it wasn't possible.

thanks Peg. we wouldn't do it at one time. one time from ritz to end of high rise. then another day in the low rise area. I'm not that motivated, lol

Jay, would you know if you were able to walk from say the Ritz beach straight through to at least the highrise area (say Marriott) on the beach. I know you can at least walk from the Marriott to the Riu I(is that the last hotel in high rise area) but not sure if after that. The low rise area we have no knowledge of how that beach works except for what Peg said.

i am thinking that from the Divi Phoenix to just north of Amsterdam Manor the walking would be out on the sidewalk for a good part of it

We have done that walk on the beach to and from high rise hotels to watch the kite surfing near the the Fisherman's huts. Its an easy walk along the beach except for the massive numbers of umbrellas at the Surf Club.

I have done the walk a couple of times. I walk the beach at palm but need to walk on the road for a bit after the Divi Phoenix. You can then walk for what feels like forever along the beach. I will be honest I walk on the sidewalk most of the way along eagle beach. I have walked from the Bucuti back to the AM area on the beach but did not walk from the Bucuti to the Divi along the beach...just road. So in the end its not possible to walk every step on the beach but I always felt like I had a safe place to walk so no worries there.
