This walk has always been one of my goals, last year I walked pretty far (not quite that far though)....at one point I had to walk the sidewalk then ended up at a rotary I believe. I then turned around and walked the rest of the way back on the sidewalk. Last year was a hard walk with all the beach erosion, rocks etc. I started at Divi and had to walk the Casa Del Mar sidewalk as the beach was gone. Hoping for more normal "beach walks" this October.

It is possible to walk from Eagle Beach right along to the Tamarind on the beach - the beach past Matthews to the Divi has opened up quite a bit in the last few weeks. Only area on the roadside is between the Divi Phoenix and Eagle Beach.

The only hardship, minus beach erosion is at the Phoenix, but we see people walk past there all the time. It can be done safely.
