Water supply to homes/resorts good?

Hi everyone,

Since Aruba is a dry island, how does this affect the water supply in terms of availability of water in the villa rentals (showers, etc) and drinking water? Is it necessary to stay in a resort in order to have plenty of water available?

Thank you,
Mac

aruba has a large DEsalinization plant
seawater is turned into potable water and it is great.
no need to buy bottled water in aruba

Nope you will have an endless amount of water available. BUT keep in mind that it is an important resource so be practicle AND it gets VERY expensive if abused which might cause you to get charged more for your rental. Also keep in mind that not ever place will have a hot water heater.

Aruba have the 2nd biggest desalination plant in the world that can produce more than 9.8 millions of gallon of water per day. Enjoy it.

The water treatment plant is state of the art. Using bottled water (other than for the convenience of having a bottle to carry), is a waste of $$$$$.

The first time I washed my hair in Aruba, I used as much shampoo that I do here at home, and I thought I would NEVER get all that out of my hair. LOL Now I know why.
