waves?

hopefully i am posting this in the right place, son wants to know what beach we should go to if he wants some waves? he is 13, not a surfer, just wants some body surfing.lol

the beach that is right across the street from the divi village/golf sometimes has awesome rollers!

palm beach is usually pretty flat calm.
eagle beach is a bit rougher.
druiff beach (across from divi) is sometimes quite rough.
baby beach inside the break water is flat like a pond.

Be careful if you decide to swim on the "windy" side of the island please be careful. There are lots of rocks and the current is really strong.

thanks again---"i" am not looking for current and strong waves....but son saw some pics and said..."it looks like a pool!". i wanna know where HE is swimming! LOL

Depending on the winds, sometimes Arashi beach has nice waves.

Locals go to Dos Playa to surf. It is posted no swiming there, though.
