Wow whats with that. My sister was on a cruise last week and she was saying I think it was the day they were in Grand Cayman or Cozumel (dont remember) the weather was so bad they made them leave the island to return to ship then they stopped the tenders out to the ship waves so high. IMAGINE... left some people behind never heard of such a thing.

Heavy rain and high winds approx. 4 times today, but only for approx. 5 minutes at a time. high waves and heavy surf warning at PALM BEACH, and problems sercuring boats near Moomba Beach, also alot of sea weed washed on beach.

I can recall talking with the friendly guy at the Divi/Tamarijn Surf Shack, a big fella named "Big Joe", about the seemingly weird weather that had begun last year. He told me that his grandma always told him that Aruba got 8 years of good weather, then 8 years of bad. Don't know why 8, just that's what I was told.
No particular reason, that's just the way it's always been, and according to him, the 8 of bad had arrived.
Maybe that's why he was getting ready to move to Ohio...
Does anyone know if he did in fact ever get off the island?

Here's hoping the weather and waves get better for the beginning of April. No fun hanging out in your room for a week in paradise.
But that ain't going to happen....
