on Saturday, June 28th and the trip was marvelous as usual, only one thing surprising occurred during out trip. IT RAINED for TWO days...all day on Tues. 6/24 and 1/2 day on Wed. 6/25...otherwise it was grrreat!!

Sorry for the late reply, but I just read this today. I brought a couple of bags, one from Gucci (for my daughter), and one from Louis Vuitton (for self). Brought some shades, a couple of outfits annnnnnnnnnnd my husband brought me a bracelet from one of the jewlery stores on the back near the piers.

Speaking of they are really building up that area....nice restaurants and shops are opening there.

You were lucky...we usually always go in November and a couple of years ago we got there on Sunday and it rained until Saturday...the day before we were leaving to come home. When I say it rained everyday, I mean everyday all day for 7 days.....we even tried to put our suits on and go into the water....so cold just standing on the beach I had goosebumps and had to wrap in a towel. It was awful...spent a lot of time at the hotel bar drinking and eating...shopped and gambled......had fun in spite of the weather but hope it NEVER happens again.....
